Wage Stagnation - In Pictures.

I just found this – which gives a good rundown of what “wage stagnation” is.

    I will award you a special prize if you can find a Congressional and Executive Branch pay raise graph to compare that to.

    It’s worth remembering that Russ Feingold has worked to put a stop to the cush, automatic pay increases Congress receives. More on that here

    It looks like stagnation only if you ignore women’s wages.

    Look again. The blue line shows a steady increase in women’s wages—at a higher rate than the stagnating men’s wages. Overall, should one then conclude that wages are increasing?

    It seems to me there is some faulty data out there. This graph doesn’t jive with other information out there, which actually does show stagnating wages. I’m inclined to believe wages are, in fact, stagnating.
